BIO

provides 15 years of medical billing and technology experience covering a wide range of software and hardware technologies. Mr. Hernandez manages the daily activities and projects of the IT department at QMACS while also serving as project manager and team lead for the implementation and training of Electronic Health Record technologies for QMACS’ clients.  

Mr. Hernandez has completed numerous projects setting up HL7 interfaces between diverse systems to streamline the billing and coding process at QMACS that resulted in greatly improving efficiency while reducing costs. He also uses his diverse knowledge of billing and technology to bridge the gap often found between clients and the hardware and software required to operate.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, Mr. Hernandez holds a B.S in Computer Science with a focus on software engineering. He maintains a close relationship with the UTD School of Engineering and is associated with several state and federal education and engineering associations.
